Bringing History into Full View
Sydney’s CBD is an amalgam of old and new and understanding our historical context is integral to growing as a city. At 60 Martin Place the new building, with heritage advice from NBRSARCHITECTURE designed by Hassell, delicately balances the historical St Stephen’s Church and 60 Martin Place.

The main foyer of the building frames the southern facade of St Stephen’s Church, creating a backdrop that links the city’s history to the present. The immediacy of the church is integrated into the light filled entry to the tower.
NBRS was commissioned by Lendlease, to provide heritage advice for the conservation works for the southern elevation of St Stephen’s Uniting Church. The new development at 60 Martin Place was designed by Hassell for Investa.
