Supporting Health and Wellbeing
As we adjust to new ways of working, we are focused on the health of our staff and the well-being of our communities. Heading into May we are challenging the NBRS team to get active, stay connected and raise funds for two special causes along the way.
We will be taking part in The May 50k, a community fitness and fundraising challenge for Kiss Goodbye to MS. We have accepted the challenge for each of us to track our kilometres and run or walk 50k throughout the month of May.
Every dollar raised will help MS Research Australia to fund life changing research into MS, to accelerate research targeting the prevention, better treatments and a cure for MS. To support our team, check out our fundraising page.
The second charity we are supporting is Headspace, a National Youth Mental Health foundation. Over the course of 21-days in May, we are challenged to complete 3,046 push-ups in total, representing the number of lives lost in Australia to suicide in 2018.
Taking on the Push-Up Challenge helps to make a real difference to millions of young people living with mental health challenges. If you would like to support our team head to our fundraising page.
