May Fitness Challenges: Get Active, Stay Connected and Fundraise
Throughout May we challenged our team to get active, stay connected and raise funds for two special causes along the way.
Congratulations to all who took part in the May 50K, a community fitness and fundraising challenge for Kiss Goodbye to MS. Together our team raised $2,950 and walked / ran a total of 3,500km – almost the distance between Sydney and Perth!
Every dollar raised will help MS Research Australia to fund life changing research into MS, to accelerate research targeting the prevention, better treatments and a cure for MS. There is still time to support our team via our fundraising page.
The second charity we have been supporting is Headspace, a National Youth Mental Health foundation. Over the course of 21-days, our team has been pushing themselves to complete as many push-ups as possible.
The challenge was to complete 3,046 push-ups, which represents the number of lives lost in Australia to suicide in 2018. If you would like to support our team head to our fundraising page.
