New Innovative Learning Environments for St George Christian School
We are excited to share an inside look at the St George Christian School Hurstville Campus development. The new facilities represent a new phase in the life of the School – a fitting tribute for the School’s 40th anniversary.
Stage 1 of the development features a new complex for senior and middle school students. Specialist facilities including visual arts rooms and science labs, ensure the school’s physical spaces complement the quality teaching and learning that are hallmarks of the school.
New classrooms allow for flexibility in seating arrangements supporting different modes of learning. Break out modules on every level provide spaces for small groups, individual study and meetings.
The building’s upper level provides teachers with ample space for collaboration, mentoring, rest and refreshment.
Stage 2 will involve the creation of more specialist learning areas and a light filled atrium that will be used as a reception area, welcoming students, staff and visitors to the building.
The campuses heritage listed chapel will be restored to its former glory and will be repurposed as a gallery to showcase the talents of students.
The new Hurstville Campus development re-imagines what learning can be, providing innovative learning environments for future generations.
