As a Studio Principal of NBRSARCHITECTURE, Anthea represents the organisation’s endeavors across all sectors. Based in Melbourne Anthea focuses on complex, large scale public sector projects. Anthea in her role as National Studio Principal, Justice seeks to create responsive and secure facilities that serve all who interact with them. Key to the Justice Studio’s approach is their commitment to maintaining clear and concise communication with the client and the wider design team.
Anthea brings a wide breadth of experience and expertise to the public sector including the provision of reports for business cases, the development of schematic and concept options, through to tender construction of projects. Having worked on a number of secure environments such as Correctional Centres, Juvenile Justice Facilities, Courts and Forensic Health Facilities, Anthea has specific knowledge that she implements in to a wide range of justice projects for both public and private clients.
Anthea has a comprehensive set of tools to meet clients’ needs throughout different stages of delivery. She has a demonstrated capacity of successfully managing and overseeing projects and she approaches all projects in a flexible and collaborative manner. A desire to deliver uplifting, person centred environments that promote reflection and inspire change guides Anthea’s design thinking. She believes that by gaining a complete understanding of how public and civic facilities are used and maintained, NBRS can create functional architecture that stands the test of time
