Marsden Park Public School
Marsden Park, NSW
A Model School
Marsden Park Public School is an example of a model school, systematically designed to support learning outcomes and enhance project delivery [DfMA].
The project, to deliver a new public school for up to 1,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 is based on an established template design for North Kellyville Public School and embraces the replication of the education planning grid, room types and ancillary assets. To incorporate Marsden Park’s character, alterations have been made to improve the building’s facade and include aboriginal and contextual design elements. This approach strives to achieve a more sustainable and efficient project delivery for SINSW.
NBRS is at the forefront of DfMA. We understand the process and approach to design systemisation, which uses BIM technology and focuses on accessing off-site manufacture and efficient onsite assembly. The construction methodology utilises standardised range of building components deployed in a manner to deliver high performance, agile learning spaces, which match or exceed a traditional construction approach.
