Scots School Sports Facility
A Multi-Function Space for a Vibrant Semi-Regional School
The Council of The Scots School Albury sought to build a multi-function building which could be utilised as an auditorium for 1000 people and as a more intimate chapel for boarders and private services. As the largest single venue in the school, the building would also be used for assemblies, theatre, dance and examinations. The design utilises two axis. The main entrance foyer and chapel sanctuary on the minor cross axis with the main hall on the long axis. All buildings have been designed to sympathetically blend with the existing post World War II buildings on the campus.
