Barry understands how architecture and people come together. Barry practices in a creative partnership to achieve the best outcome for each unique project. Barry studied architecture at the University of New South Wales School of Architecture. After graduating in 1980, he worked in both private practice and for the NSW Public Works Department involved in residential, commercial and government projects.
Barry Joined NBRSARCHITECTURE in 1988 and has an extensive portfolio covering complex building typologies including educational, worship spaces, auditoriums, and correctional facilities. Barry’s design, documentation, and contract administration projects include the Hillsong Church Epicentre and Convention Centre, Inaburra School, University of New England lecture theatre, University of Sydney School of Medicine, State Library of NSW and John Morony Prison.
Since 2007 Barry has been a senior associate at NBRSARCHITECTURE, leading teams and directing complex projects ensuring that all decisions impact on creating life changing environments.
