An integral member of the NBRSARCHITECTURE Education Studio, David supports the design and delivery of educational facilities for both public and private clients. By conducting research in to current and projected trends, the studio has developed extensive knowledge on the evolving future of learning environments.
With over 30 years of experience, David brings a broad skill set to the studio covering schematic designs, design development, construction detailing and construction stage services administration. Having worked in Australia, New Zealand and the UK, David has contributed to a number of successful projects across a range of development types. This includes schools and colleges, aged care facilities, residential developments, and commercial buildings.
David specialises in primary and secondary stage learning and has extensive experience in delivering educational projects for the NSW Department of Education. Recent projects include Rutherford Public School and North Kellyville Public School which provide dynamic and inspirational learning environments for students.
David’s commitment to developing creative relationships underpins his approach to each project. He is skilled at resolving complex problems and believes that by working collaboratively with the wider design team, unique and thoughtful design solutions can be realised.
By closely engaging with teachers and key stakeholders, David believes that NBRS can create dynamic and engaging spaces that promote active learning and contemporary pedagogies.
