Derek graduated in architecture at the University of New South Wales in 1987. Derek is a studio controller and team member forming part of the valued team at NBRSARCHITECTURE. His career has brought experience in many building typologies including public buildings, correctional facilities, aquatic facilities, recreational facilities, educational and churches.
After graduating, Derek worked on various types and scales of projects including many aquatic and recreational facilities and government buildings such as police stations and courthouses.
Derek joined NBRSARCHITECTURE in 2007 and has worked on a number of projects including the new Indoor Pool/Sport & Science Facility at Queenwood School for Girls, Kogarah Presbyterian Church and Commercial Centre, Senior Library PLC Armidale, Great Lakes Aquatic Centre, and renovations to Anderson Stuart Building University of Sydney. He is responsible for preparing design and contract documentation, services co-ordination, document management and contract administration.
Derek is a project controller focused on achieving creative, life changing environments.
