Rodney joined NBRSARCHITECTURE in 1995 prior to his graduation from The University of Sydney and worked as a Project Team Member and Leader on a number of prominent public and private buildings. Following his graduation in 1997, Rodney continued to project manage a diverse range of projects at all scales.
From 2005 to 2008 Rod took up a position as a Project Manager for a $7.5 million church and conference centre development in Sydney, then traveled to Boston, USA working on professional services methodologies for Kronos Incorporated and as Technical Supervisor on the $500M Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospital Development for the international Anshen+Allen Architects prior to their incorporation into Stantec.
On returning to Sydney in 2009, Rodney brought his breadth of project management and international experience back to NBRSARCHITECTURE, with particular strength in management and control of large complex projects. Serving as an Associate Director from 2012 to 2014, Rodney strengthened the firms focus on practice efficiency and financial management.
Prior to his appointment as a Director of NBRSARCHITECTURE at the end of 2015, Rodney was Executive Manager of international award winning CHROFI Architects. Rodney has expertise in large scale PPP procurement. The project typologies range between education, defense, health and correctional facilities. He is a leader in establishing creative partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders in a positive and proactive manner.
