Samantha has been closely involved during the construction phase on a number of city buildings, guiding decisions relating to conservation, interpretation and restoration.
Prior to joining NBRS, Samantha was closely involved in the conservation and adaptive re-use of the historic Art Deco 1939 Sydney Water Building into the 172 room, 5-star Primus Hotel at Pitt Street, Sydney.
Samantha has prepared a range of Conservation Management Plans and gained a well-rounded understanding of how to manage the care and conservation of heritage buildings based on their history and physical condition, in light of establishing successful adaptive re-use opportunities.
As an Associate Director at NBRS, Samantha brings a background in Architecture to help unlock the potential for adaptive re-use offered by an existing structure.
