North Kellyville Public School
North Kellyville, NSW
A Model School for a Rapidly Growing Community
NBRSARCHITECTURE collaborated with SINSW and ADCO to design and construct built a new Model School in North Kellyville NSW. In a first for NSW NBRS designed and prototyped components for the School with a view to establishing a standardised kit of parts [DfMA] to efficiently deliver 40 new learning spaces, including three special education learning units, and core facilities to accommodate 1,000 students in the future.
The school design provides cutting-edge learning experiences within state-of-the-art facilities to support versatile approaches to teaching and learning. This school maintains many traditional primary school features and combines them with contemporary approaches including faculty-based collaborative practice, student-centred project-based learning and STEM inquiry, and personalised learning which recognises that each student learns differently
